"Plant came to me very quickly and very green and healthy! Item was packaged well and very well wrapped for shipment. I am very happy with purchase and will look to buy from this shop again!"

"Beautiful plant! Glued it to a rock and it looks super nice. Shrimp and pygmy corys love hanging out on the leaves. High quality products! Thank you!"
-Mark

 An excellent, easy, beginner plant!

Anubias Barteri is very similar to Anubias nana, but with slightly longer stems and broader leaves. It reproduces through lateral nodes, and has glossy thick leaves that almost look fake. Slow growing, but you'd eventually be able to break off sections for a new plant.

Available in different options:

  • Bare-root: 3-5" tall plant in natural state
  • Potted: 5-7" tall, rooted in rockwool
  • Mother Plant: 7-12" tall, mature specimen
  • Multi-packs: 3x, 5x, or 10x potted plants for larger setups

An excellent, easy beginner plant! Anubias Barteri is very similar to Anubias nana but with slightly longer stems and broader leaves.

It's slow-growing with glossy thick leaves and reproduces through lateral nodes. You can propagate it by breaking off sections of the rhizome.

As an epiphyte, Anubias should not be completely buried in substrate - the rhizome needs to be exposed. Works great glued to driftwood or rocks for a natural aquascape look!

Hardy and tolerates lower light, making it perfect for tough livestock like goldfish and cichlids. This plant is difficult to kill!

Growing requirements:

  • 65-80 Degrees Fahrenheit
  • Ph 6-8
  • Low to medium light intensity
  • Slow growth speed

As I like to keep real ecosystems in my aquariums, there’s always a chance of harmless hitchhikers like snails or dwarf shrimp tagging along with your plants!

I personally keep several beneficial snail species in my tanks, including Colorful Ramshorns, Bronze Bladder and Pond Snails, Mini Rams, and Malaysian Trumpet Snails. These snails stay relatively small, help clean the aquarium, and do not eat healthy plants or cause harm. However, if you’d rather avoid any hitchhikers, I highly recommend checking out our blog on how to safely disinfect aquarium plants before adding them to your tank:
How to Bleach Dip Aquarium Plants Safely

All plants are freshly snipped or harvested and packed right before shipment. I take great care in preparing every order and use methods that have consistently produced the best results over many years in the hobby. A lot of love goes into every package, so please don’t leave your plants sitting in a hot mailbox for too long 🙏

Thank you for looking, aqua friends! 💚
